amplify is the Contemporary Music Centre’s podcast on new music and composers from Ireland, exploring current issues relating to contemporary music, as well as profiling some of its most interesting voices through interviews, features and discussions. amplify returns to New Music Dublin for two podcasts recorded live with an audience, for release post-festival.

A discussion on the impact of climate change on new music and how some composers and musicians are responding to the climate crisis and biodiversity loss through their work. Featuring contributions from composers Robert Curgenven, Karen Power, Judith Ring, and Jürgen Simpson.

CMC’s amplify presents a live podcast recording with composers and artists featured at New Music Dublin in conversation, joined by special guest American broadcaster and writer John Schaefer (New Sounds, WNYC).
