Allow pianist Andrew Zolinsky to take you on a journey in sound of stunning beauty, dark vulnerability and courageous creativity. Zolinksy’s programme reflects on the past through evocations of the sea, folklore and the natural world.

The intimate and dramatic soundscapes in this lunchtime concert, all of which are receiving their Irish premiere at this performance, are created by six unique musical voices. They include two vibrant new works – from Icelandic Lilja Maria Ásmundsdóttir and Irish Linda Buckley – jointly commissioned by Dark Music Days, Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival and New Music Dublin.

New works by Lilja María Ásmundsdóttir & Linda Buckley are jointly commissioned by Dark Music Days, Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival and New Music Dublin.
